How I get over Hard Times

It’s just one of those days.

The ones that you feel like the whole world is crumbling down on you. You just don’t have any joy you are sad, worried and stressed.

You try to make things right. Then end up feeling bad for not being positive or not having the hope that things will get better.

But you have been trying to hold on, be hopeful and tell yourself that it will all pass and that somehow things will work out but it’s been a while and they haven’t. You don’t even see the light at the of the tunnel.

I have been there and quite frankly most of us have.

Its 3am and no sleep, I have been tossing and turning in my bed for hours. Worried of what tomorrow may bring, and thinking that I haven’t done enough to make my situation better when deep down I know that I have.

I need to talk to someone really badly, tell them how I feel without being judged. Tell them my aspirations without them thinking that am too ambitious, talk to them in the hope that they will feel what I am feeling on the inside.

I want that someone to tell me that am going to be okay but I probably won’t believe them, I want them to sympathize and assure me that am justified to feel the way am feeling because I have too much on my plate..,but then again I might think that they are being negative which will make me feel worse..,so I write.

I take a pen and start journaling. I write my pain and take it all out on that piece of paper. Its writing that helped me get through the tough times and it’s still does.

So I write everything, my troubles, my triumphs, and most especially the things that am grateful for. I then finish with how I am going to deal with my fixable troubles and let go of the ones I cannot fix.

I also never forget to remind myself just how strong I am and that I can handle every life hurdle that comes my way. Just the same way I have handled the ones in the past. That I will get up whenever I fall, and still hope for better times.

Before you know it,am up again happy with full of life ready to fight, ready to see just yet another day. Feeling like a conqueror.#Life Lessons

How do you deal with hard times??
