7 Ways to Embrace and Love Life

1.Stay motivated
Love life and be passionate about it, work hard, read books and try to learn something new every day. Having high levels of motivation and enthusiasm especially in the Face of challenges will make you strong enough to handle anything that comes your way.

2.Be positive.
Don’t beat yourself down by thinking that you are not good enough, substitute that negative thought with a positive one. Stay hopeful because having positive expectations attracts positive outcomes. Believe in yourself, and know that you are good enough, you are beautiful enough and you will be.

3.Make time for yourself
Do what makes you happy, go shopping, swimming and spend time with your loved ones, the ones that make you feel wanted and good about yourself; take lots of pictures if that is what you love to do and don’t worry so much about the future because if you do what you can , the best way you know how to then everything will fall into place.

4.Don’t rely on external validation
Be different, unique and confident don’t rely on other people to make you feel good about yourself. Am not into fashion, shoes, and I don’t take hours in the mirror trying to fix my make up or take 1001 photos and post them on social media in order to be validated. Not that is a bad thing to do but I wouldn’t want to live my life trying to please other people or conforming to standards.

5.Accept that you are not perfect
Love yourself, embrace your flaws  and walk around like you don’t care who owns the world. Am not perfect physically and I will never try to be, for instance am of average height, I have tiny curves and I break out once in a while which is okay for me. I have embraced my imperfections and I don’t need someone to rate me or make me feel good about myself because I love me.  DONT be anyone’s expectations.

6.Live up to your standards
Try and live up to your standards, you don’t have to have everything in order to be happy. Honestly wanting something that you can’t have often makes you miserable. I have a few pairs of affordable shoes, and enough clothes. I don’t really spend money on extravagant designer shoes or handbags, and I don’t feel pressured to have those, but I definitely will when I can afford them.

7.Do not compare yourself to others
Don’t try to compare or compete with other people. The only person that you should compare yourself to is the person you were yesterday because at the end of the day it’s hard to please everyone. Those who love you for who you are the ones who truly deserve you, so don’t try so hard.
